I have talked about cartography and typefaces in a previous post, but never actually provided any examples of those typefaces. I believe this would be a nice time to do so now.

A problem students often have when discussing typography related to cartography is the issue of readability vs. legibility. While this is not an attempt to cover the relevant literature, I do intent to provide examples to enable people to distinguish between the two. Continue reading »
